China’s Hebei Veyong launched construction of its 1,000-ton glufosinate facility on Sept. 1, following its announcement on August 20 that the project was approved by ENN Ecology Holding Ltd.

“The 1,000-ton glufosinate project is not only the key action for Hebei Veyong’s medium and long-term development strategy, but also the core project for transformation and upgrading of product structure in Hebei Veyong,” the company said in a statement on the 中国植保行业协会 website. “It will promote the future development strategy of Hebei Veyong.” In addition, another plant with 3,000-ton glufosinate capacity is already under construction.
作为中国最早的草铵膦制造商之一，河北威永于 2012 年搬迁至新工厂，并在其现有的 150 吨工厂基础上增加了 300 吨产能的工厂。它说，草铵膦项目代表了技术推广和环境升级的突破。
