“This is the first fruit of the new history since Corteva’s independence in June this year, and is part of our commitment to further establish our roots in Brazil. The Seed Treatment Technology Center integrates the company’s US$90 million investment package into seven plants to increase our production capacity and develop new solutions,” said Corteva Agriscience President, Roberto Hun. “The seed segment is of fundamental importance to the company, which accounts for 56% of our global revenue,” he added.
The Seed Treatment Technology Center is another chapter in the company’s strategy to expand and strengthen its operations in the segment. A few months ago, Corteva launched the Cordius seed brand for partner multipliers, which was added to the Brevant and Pioneer brands aimed directly at farmers. “We are offering the most complete package of solutions, including the development of the best hybrids, our Brevant and Pioneer trademarks, and now the best seed treatment process that the producer and partner multipliers can have at their disposal,” said Christian Pflug, leader of Latin America Seed Treatment at Corteva Agriscience.
