Advanta Names US Business Manager

HYDERABAD, India – Advanta US, Inc., a business unit of sorghum seed research and marketing company Advanta India, Ltd., has added Steve Ligon as business manager, the company announced via press release. Advanta US offers unique germplasm for high quality forage sorghums, sudangrasses, hybrid grain sorghums, sorghums for biofuels and sunflowers.

Ligon has been involved with managing crop protection and row crop business for 22 years, serving most recently as Syngenta Seeds North American head of commercial operations.
