BASF Makes Changes To Board Of Directors

LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany –– The management team of the Board of Executive Directors of BASF SE has made several changes due to the retirement of Dr. Walter Seufert, president of BASF’s regional division Europe, located in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Seufert, who will retire as of Sept.30, will be replaced by Jacques Delmoitiez, currently president of BASF’s polyurethanes division located in Brussels, Belgium. Delmoitiez will be replaced by Wayne T. Smith, currently president of BASF’s catalysts division located in Iselin, New Jersey, US. Frank A. Bozich — currently responsible for the area of precious and basic metals in the catalysts division — will replace Smith as head of the catalysts division.
