AgraQuest’s Serenade Approved For Several US Crops

AgraQuest‘s Serenade fungicide (Bacillus subtilis) has been approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for use on cereals, pulses, canola, and berry crops, according to a company release.

These newly approved registrations include Serenade Max and Serenade ASO on cereal grain crops for Powdery Mildew, Rust, and Leaf Spot, and for Serenade ASO on canola for white mold, on pulse crops for white mold, and on berries for Anthracnose and Alternaria.

Because the product is naturally derived, Serenade has a zero-day pre-harvest interval and a four-hour restricted entry interval, providing growers minimal interruption following applications.

“Key grain and vegetable growers now have an effective tool that can provide greater disease control, increased yield, and an improved overall value,” said Chris Coombs, VP, North America for AgraQuest.
