India Bans Fenthion, Diazinon, Metoxuron In Agriculture

The rulings are based on a review of nearly 40 active ingredients (ais). The government has accepted recommendations regarding 21 of the ais and is considering advice on the rest. It had already banned agricultural use of fenitrothion, with the exceptions of desert locust control and public health uses.
