Sarah Webb Joins AgriBusiness Global as New Editor
AgriBusiness Global’s new Editor, Sarah Webb, has been seen in video episodes of AgriBusiness Global Report and in the latest magazine, AgriBusiness Global 2026 World Report. Webb shared a little information about herself and plans for AgriBusiness Global for 2026.
ABG: What are your opinions on the changes happening in the global crop protection market?
Sarah Webb: I think the move toward integrated crop management is really interesting and a step in the right direction. It’s always better to have more than one tool in the toolbox, especially with climate volatility and pest and disease pressures increasing stress on plants.
I’m always excited to learn about new innovations, and what’s happening in the biologicals market really stands out to me. With so many companies getting involved, it’ll be fascinating to see how this space develops over the next few years.
ABG: What regions interest you the most?
SW: Much of the work I’ve been involved in up to this point has centered around LATAM. There’s a lot happening in that region right now. It’s a very dynamic and fast-moving market, as will be covered in the AgriBusiness Global LATAM Virtual Seminar on 11 March 2026.
On a personal level, this region is especially interesting to me because I majored in Spanish, so being able to connect that background with what I’m learning now has been both rewarding and enjoyable, and it’s added another meaningful layer to my understanding of the region.
ABG: What are your views on sustainability?

Sarah Webb
SW: To me, sustainability is about the long haul. We want to ensure the planet remains healthy and habitable for future generations, not just for ourselves. I feel I’ve found a perfect fit with AgriBusiness Global as the brand focuses on providing the next generation of crop solutions to produce a safe and plentiful food supply.
ABG: What is your editorial background?
SW: I’ve worked in an editorial capacity for many facets of the agriculture industry.
My experiences have taught me that there are so many layers within every industry. What some people take for granted — for example, a well-rounded meal on their plate — is not a given at all, but rather the result of a complex system involving many different participants.
ABG: What are your plans in leading content for ABG in 2026?
SW: In 2026, I plan to continue advancing ABG’s mission of disseminating timely, credible, and actionable information that supports the sustainable feeding of the world. My focus will be on creating content that dives into global agricultural trends and challenges and connects the dots with real-world solutions for our readers.
By amplifying diverse perspectives and highlighting practical solutions, I aim to strengthen AgriBusiness Global’s role as a trusted platform that informs decision-making and drives meaningful progress in the industry.
ABG: What are you looking forward to for the upcoming year?
SW: As I dive into this new role, I’m very excited to begin working with the AgriBusiness Global community and discover what keeps this industry moving forward — and why.
