Helm Agro US Expands Availability of Zone Herbicide

Zone herbicide, from Helm Agro US, which received registration in 2015, will have expanded availability for the soybean planting season. Zone, a pre-mix of sulfentrazone and chlorimuron ethyl, is used to treat small- and large-seeded broadleaf weeds.

“We received the registration rather late in the selling season,” said Jan Stechmann, President of HELM AGRO US. “So this year will be the first growing season where America’s soybean growers have full access to the product. With its long-lasting residual control, Zone is the perfect choice for fall applications to control winter annual broadleaf weeds for a cleaner, earlier start in the spring. Plus, if offers excellent residual control when tank-mixed with burndown herbicides such as glyphosate, Helmquat 3SL (paraquat), glufosinate and 2,4-D LVE.”
