BASF Acquires CropDesign

CropDesign specialized in yield enhancement, drought tolerance, and improved nutrient use efficiency in such staple crops as maize and rice.

While BASF has consistently re-stated its commitment to conventional agrochemical R&D, it has made several efforts in the past year demonstrating its growing involvement in biotechnology discovery.
