Rotam Selects New Senior Vice President

Rotam has appointed Jean Michel Duhamel as senior vice president, according to a press release.

Duhamel brings a wealth of experience in the international crop protection sector having spent 29 years prior to the appointment in various European roles with Monsanto, which included taking that business into the Chinese market. He joins Rotam in a newly created position overseeing global sales and marketing, according to the company.

“The creation of this senior position is a response to the development of the business into a global crop protection operation. As a result we need a global leader to bring synergy to each of the divisions that are located across sixty countries,” said Rotam CEO James Bristow in a statement. “High level investment in R&D, registrations, manufacturing and fourthly, developing long term commercial relationships are what the company stands for. We now need to ensure these traits are reflected in each territory as the company is subject to rapid growth.”
