Marrone Bio Adds to Board of Directors
Marrone Bio Innovations has appointed Elin D. Miller to its Board of Directors, according to a press release.
“The company will benefit greatly from Elin’s leadership and advice,” said Pam Marrone, Founder and CEO of the company in a prepared statement. “Her broad knowledge and management experience in both the business and regulatory aspects of the agricultural industry are very well-known and respected.”
Miller currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of the biopesticide company Vestaron Corporation, Kalamazoo, MI. From 2006 to 2009, she accepted a Presidential appointment as Regional Administrator of the EPA in Region 10, where she successfully led and developed strategic direction for all aspects of enforcement and implementation of US environmental law, according to the release.
Miller also has received numerous awards and honors, including the Lea Hitchner Award, the highest honor in the crop protection industry for life long contributions. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the National FFA Individual Giving Council, the local Umpqua Community Development Corporation and was recently elected to the Umpqua Community College Board of Trustees.
