La CPDA nombra a Rachel Pick vicepresidenta de Relaciones Gubernamentales.
La conferencia LATAM de Consejo de Productores y Distribuidores de Agrotecnología (CPDA) announced today that Rachel Pick will join the association as Vice President of Government Relations, effective November 2, 2026.
Pick brings nearly 20 years of Washington experience, including service with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) and senior USDA leadership during the first Trump administration. She served in the Office of Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue and later advised USDA General Counsel Stephen Vaden, now Deputy Secretary of Agriculture.

Rachel Pick
A fourth-generation Iowa corn and soybean farmer, Pick remains involved in her family’s 2,500-acre farming operation.
“Rachel brings relationships at the highest levels of government and firsthand knowledge of production agriculture,” said Terry Kippley, CPDA President & CEO. “She understands how Washington works and what regulatory decisions mean for farmers and the businesses serving them.”
Most recently, Pick helped lead federal advocacy for AmericanHort on agricultural workforce policy, crop protection, the Farm Bill, and appropriations. During this time, she also chaired the Pesticide Policy Coalition’s Legislative Subcommittee, working with approximately 40 grower organizations to preserve access to essential crop protection tools. Her experience supports CPDA’s mission to protect growers’ access to crop protection products, adjuvants, and inert ingredients. Pick previously held leadership positions with U.S. Farmers & Ranchers in Action.
Pick succeeds Andrew Walmsley, who expanded CPDA’s access and influence in Washington before joining CPDA member company Atticus.
“Rachel is well positioned to build on that progress,” Kippley added. “Our priorities include reducing EPA’s pesticide registration backlog, strengthening American manufacturing and supply chain
resilience for crop protection products, adjuvants and inerts, and advancing practical ESA solutions through drift reduction adjuvants. Rachel’s experience will help us deliver results for our members.”
“My roots in agriculture shape how I approach advocacy in Washington, where policy decisions have real impacts on my family’s farm and others across the country,” said Pick. “I’m excited to join CPDA and work alongside its members to advance policies that support innovation and keep effective crop protection tools accessible and affordable.”
