WACKER presentará su cartera de adyuvantes agrícolas para apoyar la protección moderna de cultivos en la Cumbre Global de Comercio Agroindustrial.

Wacker Chemical Company continues to strengthen its portfolio of agro adjuvant technologies supporting the formulation, application and performance of crop protection products. Examples will be shown at the Cumbre de comercio mundial de agronegocios, Aug. 5-6, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at booth 209. Drawing on long-standing expertise in silicone chemistry and bio-based ingredients, WACKER offers a broad range of solutions across its Agro Adjuvant Portfolio, including technologies for foam control, wetting and spreading, rheology modification and the functional delivery of active ingredients in agricultural formulations.

“Today’s agricultural formulations have to perform across multiple points, from production and storage to dilution, spraying and field performance,” says Nicolas Imlinger, WACKER’s senior director for Energy & Industrial Silicones in North and Central America. “Our portfolio is designed to help customers address those formulation challenges with ingredients that support efficiency, consistency and overall product performance.”

Silicone Defoamers for Efficient Processing and Application

Foam formation can occur at multiple stages of agrochemical production and use, including formulation, dilution and spraying. WACKER’s portfolio of silicone defoamers, such as SILFOAM® SE 2060, SILFOAM® SC 132, SILFOAM® SRE and SILFOAM® SD 8264, includes products suitable for both in can and tank mix adjuvant applications. Selected grades meet applicable regulatory requirements, supporting use across a wide range of agrochemical formulation types.

Organosilicone Wetting and Spreading Agents

WACKER’s organosilicon wetting and spreading agents, including WACKER® L 067 and WACKER® L 060, are designed to significantly reduce surface tension in aqueous systems. This enables rapid wetting and spreading on hydrophobic plant surfaces, supporting improved spray coverage and formulation performance in crop protection and foliar nutrition applications.

Rheology Modifiers for Formulation Stability

To support formulation stability and handling, WACKER supplies HDK® fumed silica grades used as rheology modifiers, anti settling and anti caking agents. These materials help formulators achieve consistent viscosity, storage stability and reliable processing in liquid and solid agrochemical systems.

Cyclodextrins for Advanced Agrochemical Solutions

WACKER is also expanding the application of CAVAMAX® and CAVASOL® cyclodextrins in agriculture. These naturally derived cyclic oligosaccharides function as carriers that can enhance the solubility, stability and controlled release of selected active ingredients and natural components. Cyclodextrin based approaches are being evaluated for use in modern agrochemical and biological formulations requiring enhanced formulation robustness.

Technical Collaboration and Market Support

Through close collaboration with agrochemical manufacturers, formulators and distribution partners, WACKER supports customers globally via technical development activities, portfolio localization and structured knowledge exchange initiatives such as WACKER Academy.

With its integrated Agro Adjuvant Portfolio, WACKER supports the development of reliable, high-performance crop protection formulations aligned with evolving technical, regulatory and market requirements.

Visitors attending the AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit are encouraged to visit WACKER at booth 209 to learn more about the company’s agro adjuvant solutions.
