Amvac C.V., the Netherlands-based international subsidiary of American Vanguard Corp., has acquired DuPont Crop Protection’s global Bromacil herbicide business assets.
Los activos desinvertidos incluyen las marcas comerciales Bromacil Hyvar y Krovar, registros de productos, datos de registro de productos, información del cliente, acceso a ciertos conocimientos, registros técnicos y datos de registro asociados fuera de América del Norte. El bromacil es un herbicida residual de amplio espectro que se utiliza en cultivos como la piña, los cítricos, el agave y el espárrago, y se comercializa a nivel mundial bajo las marcas Hyvar y Krovar marcas. Los herbicidas de bromacil siguen siendo importantes herramientas de control de malezas y se utilizan en países como; Japón, Tailandia, México, Costa Rica y Brasil.
