REKA Group nombra a Tom Mohrmann director ejecutivo
REKA Group announces that Tom Mohrmann has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 September 2026. In this role, he will lead the international REKA Group and assume overall responsibility for the further development of the company and its operations in the Netherlands, Spain, India and Kazakhstan.
With the appointment of Mohrmann, REKA is taking the next step in its development, with a focus on further strengthening its international organisation, sharpening its commercial focus and delivering sustainable, profitable growth.
Co-founder Aron Oosthoek has led REKA since its foundation, building the company into an international player in regenerative systems that contribute to healthier soils, more resilient crops and more sustainable agriculture and horticulture. He will continue to play an important role in REKA’s further growth, with responsibility for the company’s commercial activities.
Mohrmann brings more than 20 years of commercial and leadership experience across FMCG, food and AgriTech. He held management positions at companies including Henkel and Tivall (part of Nestlé). As CEO of Protifarm, he led the company’s further development and international scale-up through to its acquisition.
In the years that followed, he worked as an entrepreneur and advisor, supporting the development of several new businesses and commercial propositions focused on sustainability. Throughout his career, a consistent theme has been the growth of innovative companies where commercial success and sustainability go hand in hand.
“REKA was founded on the belief that healthy soils and resilient crops are essential for the future of our children,” Oosthoek said. “Over the past years, we have built a strong foundation of biological technology, expertise and international operations. With Tom joining the team, we are adding extensive commercial leadership experience. I look forward to working with him and our colleagues to build the next phase of REKA, further strengthening our international organization and bringing our solutions to more growers.”
“Agriculture and horticulture are facing major challenges,” Mohrmann added. “We need to continue producing sufficient quantities of high-quality food while pressure on our soils and natural resources is increasing. I believe biological solutions can make an important contribution to addressing these challenges.
Aron and the team have built a strong foundation at REKA: strong products, deep expertise and genuine entrepreneurship. Together, we will build on that foundation, with clear priorities and an ambitious growth strategy.
One principle will guide me above all: we need to create demonstrable value for growers. That is how commercial growth and more sustainable agriculture can go hand in hand.”
