Bayer Expands US Ignite Facilities

 MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Michigan, US — Bayer CropScience has expanded production capabilities at its Michigan, US, plant, which makes a variety of crop protection products, including Ignite herbicide. Bayer has opened a new $15 million facility on-site that will increase production of Ignite by 50%. As most market growth for Ignite has been in the US, the company decided to increase production in the US rather than in its European facilities.
