India Expects Record Wheat Crop

STATE COLLEGE, Pennsylvania, US — Wheat growers in India expect a record wheat crop this year, in spite of some of the warmest temperatures on record for March, according to AccuWeather.com. Last year’s harvest of 80.68 million tonnes could grow to 82 million tonnes this season.

 A near-normal rainfall is forecast for monsoon season, June through September.
