Indian Fertilizer Company Agrees To JV In Qatar

Delhi, India-based Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative (IFFCO) has agreed to establish a joint venture (jv) for fertilizer production in Qatar with Qatar Fertiliser Co. (Qafco) It will be a 51% jv for Qafco and 49%  by IFFCO, based on natural gas feedstock. The entire fertilizer output of the jv will be purchased by IFFCO at market prices, to be sold in India. The companies, which have launched a joint feasibility study for the jv, did not disclose any additional details.
