IPNI Names Scholarship Winners

The Awards, which include a US $2,500 prize, are conferred upon graduate students in sciences relevant to plant nutrition and the management of crop nutrients.

The first class of winners of the awards is composed of:

  • Miss Zhu Hongxia, Southwest University, Chongqing, China.
  • Mr. Fernando Ramos Gourcy, Almeria University, Spain.
  • Mrs. Nunuk Suprihati, Bogor Agricultural University, Indonesia.
  • Mr. Christopher Boomsma, Purdue University, US.
  • Miss K. Vanitha, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore, India. 

“We had a significant number of applications for these new awards in 2007 and were impressed with the quality and credentials of the graduate students,” said Dr. Terry Roberts, president of IPNI.

The Awards program is funded through support of IPNI member companies.
