Kemira Divests Final Fertilizer Assets

The company stated in a release that Kemapco, which is located in Aqaba, Jordan, produces potassium nitrate and dicalcium phosphate. Kemapco was founded in 1999 as a joint venture between Kemira Denmark A/S, APC, and Danish Industrialization Fund for Developing Countries (IFU). Kemira will continue to market potassium nitrate from the factory for a one-year transitional period.
