NK Brand Offers 13 New Corn Varieties

Eleven of the new products include Agrisure traits for insect control and herbicide tolerance. All are broadly adapted with maturities ranging from a very early 71 days to full season (113 days). Several are well-suited for corn-on-corn acres and others have strong emergence and seedling growth for early planted acres. For additional early season insect and disease protection, all NK Brand hybrids are treated with Cruiser Extreme 250 seed treatment.

For the 2007 season, growers who plant a corn hybrid with any Agrisure trait receive assurances such as added protection against adverse weather conditions and other occurrences that result in trait loss. In addition, they automatically are eligible for AgriEdge Corn programs, which combine premium genetics, traits, and crop protection solutions to maximize yield, according to the company.
