Poland Launches New Biotech Laboratory

Once completed, the Institute will apply to the Ministry of Environment to have the laboratory certified as one of the few reference laboratories in the country. Although it will be owned by the government, it will be open to private sector customers for a fee.

Currently, there are four similar laboratories operating in Poland, one under the Ministry of Agriculture and three under the Ministry of Health. The construction of this laboratory is a part of a larger structural project called “Food Safety” started by the Polish government with EU funds.
