A TITAN Containers ganha o prêmio de Inovação Tecnológica Revolucionária em Armazenamento Refrigerado.

TITAN Containers, the global leader in containerized storage solutions, received the Technological Breakthrough award in Sustainable Innovation for Cold Storage from the Cold Chain Federation for ArcticStore Horizon. The award was presented during the Cold Chain Federation’s annual Climate & Energy Summit, March 19.

he recognition solidifies ArcticStore Horizon as a premier solution for sustainable cold storage within global markets. Judges’ selections showcase companies and solutions setting the standard for sustainability in the cold chain by reducing carbon emissions, energy use, plastics, and waste.

Launched in late 2025, ArcticStore Horizon was developed to support the cold storage industry’s efforts to reduce emissions and combat rising energy costs which typically account for 70% of a cold storage facility’s total overhead.

ArcticStore Horizon delivers results across both fronts:

  • Energy Savings: A combination of hyper-efficient Vacuum Insulation Panels (VIPs), provide 30% savings, and integrated solar arrays contribute an additional 25%, for a total of 55% reduction in energy consumption on average – and even greater savings in high-sunlight locations.
  • Climate Impact Reduction: A significant reduction in Global Warming Potential (GWP), dropping from the industry standard of 2,140 to just 0.5.

“Receiving this recognition affirms our commitment to delivering truly sustainable cold storage solutions to our clients,” said Søren Skov Mogensen, CEO of TITAN Containers. “ArcticStore Horizon fills a critical need in a market facing volatile energy costs and stricter compliance. We have built a solution that is not only modular and scalable but sets a new global benchmark for environmental responsibility.”

The award comes at a pivotal time as demand for cold storage grows 10–20% annually. ArcticStore Horizon is already seeing rapid adoption across the pharmaceutical, food, and retail sectors, providing a vital tool for industries navigating the global phase-down of high-GWP refrigerants and limited grid capacity.
