EU Approves GM Canola For Food And Feed

The European Commission has cleared GM oilseed rape T45 for feed and food uses and import and processing, reports Reuters. According to a statement released by the Commission, authorization will be valid for 10 years, and any products derived from the GM canola will be subject to the EU’s strict labelling and traceability rules.
