Albaugh公司将Pyraxol SC除草剂引入美国市场

阿尔博 has announced that the company has received registration from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for Pyraxol SC herbicide (EPA Reg. No. 83100-91).

A member of the Group 15 class of herbicides, Pyraxol SC contains pyroxasulfone, a proven preemergence herbicide known for delivering long-lasting residual control of tough annual weeds, including resistant biotypes, at lower use rates than other Group 15 herbicides.

Recognized for its effectiveness and extended residual activity, pyroxasulfone has become an important tool for residual weed control across the U.S. Pyraxol SC provides control of annual grass weeds and sedges, as well as key annual broadleaf weeds, like waterhemp and Palmer amaranth. It is also active on weed populations resistant to ACCase inhibitors, ALS inhibitors, and glyphosate. Its highly selective mode of action can be used across a range of crops, including corn, cotton, and soybeans while maintaining excellent crop safety when used according to label directions and under normal environmental conditions.

“Pyraxol SC is a significant and long-awaited addition to the Albaugh portfolio,” said Andy Bogue, Albaugh U.S. Sales Director – Crop Protection. “As weed resistance continues to challenge growers, pyroxasulfone has proven itself as one of the leading active ingredients in the Group 15 herbicide category. Pyraxol SC gives growers an alternative, trusted source of pyroxasulfone that delivers the strong residual weed control and performance that they’ve come to expect in a post-patent solution.”

“As a farmer-founded business, the introduction of Pyraxol SC reinforces Albaugh’s commitment to providing high-quality, cost-effective solutions that help growers protect yield and manage increasingly complex weed-control challenges,” Bogue said.
