Pakistan Urges Trade, Technology Transfer With India

Upon returning from a 5-day visit to India, along a delegation of 8 members, Engineer Javed Saleem Qureshi –- Chairman of the Pakistan Crop Protection Association (PCPA) — said that the country’s production could increase incredibly through mutual trade and transfer of technology between Pakistan and India. Qureshi said Pakistan’s agriculture standard was far behind India, and farmers in developing countries are taking maximum advantage of it, reports the Pakistan Observer.

Qureshi said Pakistani growers have the potential to increase production by as much as 1,200 kg per acre by adopting the latest agriculture technology.
