Sheridan 25 WG, an herbicide from Helm Agro US has received registration approval, the company announced. The herbicide is designed to help growers deal with post-emergence broadleaf weed and grass control in soybeans, peanuts and non-crop areas. The new product, which falls under federal Section 3, uses the active ingredient chlorimuron ethyl.
“Sheridan 25 WG is the ideal choice for post-emergence control of many broadleaf weeds and grasses in soybeans, peanuts and non-crop areas such as fencerows, roadsides and equipment storage areas,” said Jan Stechmann, President of Helm Agro US. “It can be tank-mixed with Helosate (glyphosate) or other soybean herbicides for improved weed control and resistance management. Plus, it’s the perfect tank-mix partner for burndown herbicides such as Helosate (glyphosate), Helmquat 3LS (paraquat), glufosinate and 2,4-D LVE.”
