DuPont Extends Resolve SG For Cotton & Soy Rotations

WILMINGTON, Delaware, US — DuPont Resolve SG herbicide has received federal registration for a label expansion that will enable growers to take advantage of additional crop rotation flexibility to cotton and STS soybeans, reports CropLife. The expanded label also will allow Resolve SG to be tank-mixed with glyphosate and 2,4-D or dicamba for improved, longer-lasting burndown activity and control of many grasses and broadleaf weeds through crop emergence.

The new label allows growers to apply Resolve SG (1.0 ounce per acre) to corn from preplant through preemergence or as a fallow treatment, then plant cotton or STS soybeans 30 days later. In corn, Resolve SG can be applied alone or tank-mixed with glyphosate or atrazine at planting.

Resolve SG is intended for longer-lasting control of winter annuals that can harbor early-season insects and problem weeds such as henbit, chickweed, and annual bluegrass, as well as to help keep fields clean through crop emergence, giving growers more options for timing a postemergence herbicide application.
