MAI Gains US Paraquat Approval

Makhteshim Agan NIndustries (MAI) has received US approval for paraquat for use on over 100 crops, according to a company release. The non-selective herbicide active ingredient will be sold as Parazone 3SL, and is a generic formulation based on Syngenta’s Gramoxone Max. MAI states that the 3 lb./gallon formulation is 50% more concentrated than leading brands.
