Monsanto Purchases Former Pfizer Research Center

ST. LOUIS, Missouri, US — According to a company press release, Monsanto Company has completed the purchase of the Chesterfield Village Research Center, located in Chesterfield, Missouri, US. The 1.5 million-square-foot research center, acquired from Pfizer Inc. includes 250 laboratories, 108 plant growth chambers and two acres of greenhouses. Monsanto expects the site to be key in reaching the company’s stated R&D goal of doubling yields in its core crops by 2030.
