Arysta LifeScience has released Cabrio Top fungicide in Vietnam.
A product of BASF, Cabrio Top is a fungicide for use with watermelons and tomatoes. The company plans to register the product for mango use later this year.
“Watermelon growers are benefitting from increased export demand,” said Tran Duc Van, Arysta LifeScience country manager, in a statement. “In addition, growers of tomatoes and mangos are investing more in production to satisfy local consumers who are willing to pay for higher quality.”
The company aims to reach 15% market share for fungicides in Vietnam for watermelon, tomato and mango crops within the next two years. Other plans include expanding the market for Cabrio Top for chili peppers, cucumbers and citrus within the next few years.
