Agricultural biosolutions company Futureco Bioscience has expanded its commercial operations in Mexico with its innovative biostimulant and biocontrol products. Backed by a portfolio that has proven its worth by increasing agricultural yields in a sustainable way around the world, the company officially joins the Mexican agribusiness scene with its highly technological and innovative alternatives made in Spain.

With a solid presence of three decades in Latin American countries, Futureco Bioscience strengthens its commitment to international expansion by opening its new subsidiary in Mexico. After first signing distribution agreements in the Mexican territory for its biocontrol products (Bestcure and Nofly) and following its successful model of openings in other strategic locations such as Peru, this opening marks a new chapter in the global strategy of the company. Futureco Bioscience Mexico establishes its headquarters in Mexico City, from where it will oversee and manage operations in the national market, with a specific focus on the Sinaloa region.

Last week, the first team meeting was held and attended by Sandro Baglietto, Global Sales Director; Fernando Monroy Henao, Manager of Colombia, Ecuador and Central America; Andrea Quevedo, Director of Sales in Peru; Clevis Castellon, Manager of Costa Rica and the Caribbean; and Ijlal Benslimane, Product Manager. They were joined by new Mexican team members: Ernesto Parra, Joan Montoya, and Juan Antonio Leyva . These technical sales representatives will operate in the areas of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, and Nayarit.

“We are delighted to announce the opening of our subsidiary in Mexico and the start of commercial operations in this market,” Baglietto said. “This marks another step in our international growth process. At Futureco Bioscience, we have assembled a team of experienced professionals who are already working to expand our business and consolidate the leadership of our class-leading biostimulant products. We are focused on forging strong partnerships in Mexico and are confident that we will achieve exceptional performance to meet the global business targets set for 2023 and beyond.”

Agriculture is a vitally important economic pillar for Mexico, with a historical legacy and significant political weight. The country stands out as a key producer of crops such as maize, avocado, cereals, and various field vegetables, highlighting its enormous potential. In addition, Mexico ranks third worldwide in the production of organic agricultural products. In this context, Futureco Bioscience is uniquely positioned to offer innovative, effective, and sustainable solutions to meet the demands of this growing market.

With the support of Futureco Bioscience’s talented and experienced team in Spain and Latin America, the company will continue its expansion in South America in the near future, establishing new subsidiaries in other countries and adding professionals with vast experience to underpin its vision of growth and leadership.

The future of Mexican agribusiness is booming, and Futureco Bioscience is positioned to be a leading player in its transformation and continued success.
