The Agribusiness Global℠ SE Asia Conference  will gather crop protection leaders on 8 -9 November at the Pullman Jakarta Central Park Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia. With more than 300 attendees and 35 exhibitors, attendees can make business connections while learning from experienced industry leaders.

Chairman Sudradjat Yusuf of the Indonesian Crop Care Association, a supporting organization of the event, says, “In the next five to 10 years, there will be disruption in the agrochemical business, distribution systems, and promotions, and the products themselves will change in line with the direction of world politics and climate change so that countries’ food security systems will be protected for their own interests.”

As the agricultural market is complex and continually evolving due to various factors such as consumer demands, climate change, and technological advancements, there is great importance on hearing from experts to create strategies for 2024.

Presentations and panel discussions will cover major market trends, biologicals, regulations, and other regional updates.

Opening the event is keynote speaker Garry Mabon, Co-Founder of AgbioInvestor. He’ll discuss the five to 10-year outlook for application trends for crop protection globally as well as provide analysis of how biological and ag technology will impact the global and local SE Asia crop protection markets.

David Li, Marketing Director of SPM Biosciences will provide an in-depth examination of China’s agrochemical industry as we dive into the key factors driving and challenging the agrochemical supply within China and explore the future prospects of sourcing within the industry.

Other presenters like Dr. Piyatida “Tung” Pukclai, Asia-Pacific Regional Sales and Regulatory Policy Manager for Knoell will be presenting on the region’s regulation developments.

“I will provide insights on how to navigate the latest regulatory affairs in this region effectively and ensure compliance with international standards,” says Pukclai. “I will help those attending to understand the challenges faced due to compliance policies from abroad. Also, trends and opportunities in this region e.g., new formulations, biocontrol, and ag tech development.”
