Bayer and Kimitec Introduce Two New Biologicals Developed Through Their Partnership

Bayer and Kimitec have announced the launch of two new biological products as a result of their partnership: Ambition Complete Gen2 and Ambition Secure Gen2. Both are currently undergoing regulatory processes and will be included in Bayer’s Crop Performance Enhancer portfolio as part of its commitment to regenerative agricultural solutions.

Ambition Complete Gen2 is an innovative gel-based formulation that enhances nutrient assimilation, stress resilience, and metabolic activation in plants, delivering more efficient performance.

Ambition Secure Gen2 addresses one of the most persistent challenges in plant nutrition: calcium uptake. Its bioformulation, developed from an active matrix, improves calcium mobility and efficacy in crops, enhancing fruit firmness and quality.

“Our partnership with Kimitec sets a new standard for how to bring solutions to market fast, focused, and farmer-first,” said Ralf Glaubitz, Head of CP Product Team Fungicides, Biologics and Fruits & Vegetables at Bayer’s Crop Science division. “With Bayer’s trusted global development and commercialization capabilities and unparalleled agricultural systems expertise we help to advance and establish biological solutions derived from natural sources to complement the farmer’s toolbox.”

Both products were developed at the MAAVi Innovation Center, Kimitec’s research hub, where microbiology, natural chemistry, artificial intelligence and agronomic knowledge are integrated to design practical and effective field solutions.

“This launch is not simply an enhancement of what already exists, but a true leap forward in how agricultural solutions are designed,” said Alejandro de las Casas, Agro-Business Director at Kimitec. “Our alliance with Bayer proves that biological solutions are now an effective reality, capable of contributing to more resilient, efficient, and sustainable agriculture.”

This shared vision reflects both companies’ commitment to offering a complementary component within a holistic farm management approach that combines biologicals, crop protection, genetic improvement, and digital tools.
