“There is an increasing global demand for food, but the areas to grow crops are limited,” says Suleyman Baydar, general manager at Baydar Tarim. “Therefore, we need to use our resources in a better way. We see that success can be reached through using high quality crop protection products and promoting stewardship.”
Promoting stewardship for this company means focused attention on the physical plant structure as well as outreach to farmer customers.
“A fence surrounds the perimeter of the location, and alarms and cameras were installed for added security and a professional guard monitors the site on a 24/7 basis.
Baydar Tarim reaches out to farmers through consulting services and educational opportunities. Baydar and his team promote and recommend that customers use protective clothing during product application and in the field during demo trials. Product quality and safety is stressed as well.
“We keep constant live dialogue with farmers and dealers through meetings and seminars,” says Baydar. “We stress a lot the importance of use of high quality products and promote the safe use principles to protect people and our planet.”
