There will be a total of five plants on this site that will produce 18 technical grade pesticides with a strong emphasis on backward integration in the production process. Indian pesticide manufacturers have been relying heavily on China to supply their raw materials and intermediates. Successful backward integration will allow Willowood to become more competitive and be better positioned to offer international buyers a credible alternate source to Chinese supplies of generic pesticides.

AgriBusiness Global recently interviewed Jitendar Mohan, Willowood’s Chief Operating Officer, who offered Eight Current and Future Opportunities in India.
