CPDA 2026 Annual Meeting Highlights Growth and Industry Leadership

The Council of Producers and Distributors of Agrotechnology (CPDA) brought industry members together September 28-30 in Dallas, TX, for its 2026 annual meeting, held in conjunction with The Fertilizer Institute and CropLife America at the Hilton Anatole.

The meeting highlighted a year of growth and increased engagement for CPDA. President and CEO Terry Kippley reported that the organization surpassed 100 members in 2026, while expanding its involvement in government affairs and launching a new Biopesticide Working Group.

The gathering also recognized several members for their contributions to the council and the broader agrotechnology industry. Alexis Bromley of Nutrien and Austin Anderson of Helena Agri-Enterprises received CPDA Service to Council awards for their regulatory and certification work, respectively. Jordan Lab of Wilbur-Ellis was recognized for her work on Endangered Species Act communications, while Bruce Bollinger received the 2026 Lifetime of Service to Council award.

Leadership also transitioned during the meeting, with Greg Lindner of Croda taking over as CPDA chairman from Patrick Ewan of Helena Agri-Enterprises.

In addition to networking and recognition, attendees heard updates on regulatory and economic issues affecting the industry. Discussions included Endangered Species Act developments and government affairs, while Dr. Justin Benavidez, chief economist for USDA, provided an update on the economic challenges facing U.S. growers for 2026/2027.
