AgriBusiness Global Expands Events Portfolio with New LATAM Conference and Summit

AgriBusiness Global is launching a new event focused on the expansive market opportunities in the Latin-American (LATAM) agricultural region. The premier AgriBusiness Global LATAM Conference and Summit 2022 will take place in person this August in Panama City, allowing for direct international access in a region that is safe for in-person participation.

“The rapidly emerging LATAM market is primed for new trade relationships and alliances to capitalize on the expanding market opportunities from this key agricultural region,” says Eric Davis, Group Business Director, AgriBusiness Global.

The new 2022 event will facilitate business and market development in this strategically important region and will complement the flagship AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit which returns in person in summer 2023. “The LATAM event will have a strong conference element, providing thought leadership and key insights specifically on the LATAM region along with time allotted for direct networking and private meetings to facilitate trade,” Davis says.

The agribusiness market has undergone a dramatic shift due to trade, tariff and supply disruptions coupled with COVID travel and trade restrictions impacting global market and business development. “LATAM is the ideal location because the region is open and accessible for conducting business during these fast-changing times. The LATAM event will convene leading manufacturers, exporters, trading companies, sellers, formulators, and registration consultants with interest and expertise in the region,” says Juan David Rivera, International Sales Manager, AgriBusiness Global.

“The Agribusiness sector through the region is experiencing the formation of new alliances, major mergers and acquisitions, and new players bringing new ag technology, biologicals, and regenerative agriculture systems to advance agriculture in the region. We’re excited to bring this new regionally focused event to the industry, leading up to the 2023 AgriBusiness Global Trade Summit,” Rivera says.
