“Both products are good for insect resistant management,” said U Myint Thant, country manager, Arysta LifeScience Myanmar. “They provide superior control for major pests such as diamondback moth, pod borer, beet armyworm and rice stem borer on key crops such as pulses, crucifers and rice.”

DuPont’s Prevathon, with the active ingredient Rynaxypyr (chlorantraniliprole), is a novel anthranilic diamide insecticide that provides long-lasting control against a broad range of insects for various field crops and has a favorable mammalian tox and ecotox profile. The product offers broad-spectrum efficacy, lavicidal action, rapid cessation of feeding, strong residual activity and rain fastness.

Ammate (indoxacarb) offers a new mode of action to control Lepidoptera, is effective at a low-use rate and offers rapid stop-feeding of treated pests.
