BASF To Raise Polyetheramine Prices
LUDWIGSHAFEN, Germany — According to a company news release, BASF is raising prices for its intermediate chemical, polyetheramine. Polyetheramine curing agents are used in the manufacturing of pesticides. The global cost increase of about $127.70 per metric ton will be effective immediately or as existing contracts allow.
BASF has polyetheramine manufacturing capacities at its sites in Ludwigshafen, Germany, and in Geismar, Louisiana, US.
