Certis Europe Receives Distribution Rights For Mocap
25 January 2011 Newport Beach, Calif., United States —American Vanguard Corporation has named Certis Europe BV as AmVac’s primary distribution partner for its soil nematicide/insecticide Mocap (Ethoprophos), according to a press release.
Mocap is a soil nematicide/insecticide that is registered in 50 countries where it is used to combat many nematode and insect species in a wide range of crops. Certis Europe has been granted exclusive distribution rights to Mocap in its direct sales territory that includes the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Portugal and Italy, according to AmVac.
“Mocap presents an exciting new opportunity for Certis and fits well with our existing portfolio in potatoes, fruit and vegetables in both Northern and Southern Europe,” said Kevin Price, corporate marketing manager for Certis Europe in a prepared statement. “Mocap is an important tool for growers to control a number of yield and quality-limiting nematode and insect species.
