Chemtura AgroSolutions Announces New President

Chemtura AgroSolutions, a global provider of crop protection solutions and seed enhancements, announced that Scott Sutton will serve as president beginning February 14, 2011, according to a press release.

Sutton will lead Chemtura AgroSolutions, a business unit of Chemtura Corporation, as it continues to grow internationally, according to the company.

“We are fortunate to bring a leader of Scott’s caliber and background into our organization,” said Craig A. Rogerson, chairman, president and CEO of Chemtura Corporation in a prepared statement. “He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in global project and business management to Chemtura.”

Prior to joining Chemtura AgroSolutions, Sutton served as business manager for heavy industrial contracting at Landmark Structures and held several global leadership positions with Albemarle Corporation. A registered Professional Engineer, he earned a civil engineering degree from Louisiana State University, according to Chemtura.
