Meanwhile, the Trade Summit’s educational sessions addressed a number of emerging trends in the industry. Moderated by AgriBusiness Global editors Renee Targos and Dan Jacobs, the sessions drew tremendous interest from attendees. For example, the session “Bridging the Biological/Chemical Divide” attracted so many attendees that there was standing room only. Panelists included Mariola Kopcinski, Global Business Manager of Ingevity Agricultural Chemicals; Pedro Juan, Director of Food Chain Management at Certis Belchim; and Stephen Pearce, Co-founder and Executive Partner of Chemovateq Swiss AG Investments. These experts unanimously believed that bridging the gap between biology and chemistry should be based on the characteristics of biological formulation themselves. The industry should also pay close attention to the study of formulation systems and how to improve the shelf life of biological formulations and their compatibility with chemical formulations.

In addition, biological formulations, especially for biopesticides, should establish a new evaluation system, rather than just evaluating biological formulations based on conventional chemical formulations systems such as mortality and yield. More attention should be paid to the process indicators of crop growth period, as biological formulation affect the dynamic crop growth system.

In addition to ample learning opportunities, the Trade Summit also offered delegates from around the world opportunities to develop connections and increase business partnerships. As a participating enterprise dedicated to the research and development, production, and promotion of green agricultural inputs, Newsun received a lot of attention and recognition from customers from several countries, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, and Spain.
