Clariant Increases Prices of Detergents and Intermediates
6 April 2011 Clariant’s Business Unit Detergents & Intermediates announced a minimum 10% price increase for its TAED, Hostapur SAS, Glyoxal, Glyoxylic Acid and Oxalic Acid product lines, according to a press release.
The adjustments, which will become effective immediately or as contracts allow, reflect accelerating raw material costs which can no longer be absorbed by the business. Clariant’s customers will be contacted individually regarding the specifics of the price increases as they apply to their products and regions.
