FMC Corp. Elects Pallash To Board of Directors
6 May 2008 FMC Corp. announced the election of Robert C. Pallash to its Board of Directors, according to a report on PRNewswire.com (subscription required).
Pallash is president, global customer group, and senior vice president of Visteon Corp., a global supplier of automotive systems, modules, and components to vehicle manufacturers and aftermarket customers. Prior to joining Visteon, Mr. Pallash served as president of TRW Automotive Japan from 1999 to 2001, and as president, Lucas Varity in Hong Kong from 1995 to 1999. He served in a number of management and international positions with Perkins Engines Limited from 1972 to 1995.
Pallash becomes the ninth independent director on the FMC Board. William G. Walter, FMC chairman, president and CEO is the sole inside director.
