French Court Upholds Ruling Against Monsanto

monsanto logo3A French court affirmed an earlier ruling which found Monsanto guilty of the chemical poisoning of a French farmer, who says he suffered neurological problems after inhaling Lasso, the U.S. company’s preemergent weedkiller.

Monsanto’s attorney said the the company would likely take the case to France’s highest appeal court.
