Azoxystrobin is a broad-spectrum strobilurin fungicide effective against all four types of fungi, including ascomycetes, basidiomycetes, deuteromycetes and zygomycetes. Kinsta is labeled for use on grapes, chillies, mangoes and tomatoes.

According to Arysta, fungal diseases account for crop losses of up to 20% to 30% every year in India. “Kinsta offers a solution for control of some of the most damaging diseases, such as downy and powdery mildew of grapes, fruit rot and powdery mildew of chillies, anthracnose and powdery mildew on mangoes, and early and late blight on tomatoes,” the company said.

“Arysta LifeScience sees a good opportunity for leveraging Kinsta throughout our strong distribution network in many vegetable and fruit crops,” said S. Ganeshkumar, country head and managing director, Arysta LifeScience India.
