Gowan Launches Nissan’s Pyridaben In North America

The insecticide was sold in the US by BASF before Gowan reached an agreement last year with Nissan to acquire North American rights to the product. Nissan, which formed a long-term partnership with Gowan to cover the NAFTA region in 2004, has been selling pyridaben under the brand name Sanmite since 1991.

Nexter is used to control red mites and two-spotted spider mites on fruits including apples, pears, grapes, cherries, strawberries, peaches, and nectarines.
