UPL Acquires Bayer Sugar Cane Herbicide

Asulam is a post-emergence herbicide used primarily for control of annual grasses in sugar cane. It also is labeled for use on turf, ornamentals, Christmas tree plantations, and non-cropland.

“Sugar cane is a very important segment to UPI and asulam complements our herbicide portfolio in this market,” says Jeffrey Pritchard, vice president and general manager of UPI.
