Mitsui Details Sankyo Integration

The new operation will use the Sankyo Agro name and have around 550 employees and consolidated sales of US $333 million. Its headquarters will be in Tokyo, Japan, with branch offices in Sapporo, Sendai, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, and research and development centers at Mobara and Yasu. Sankyo also will have three production plants, located at Funaoka, Shinsiro, and Utsunomiya. Sankyo Agro’s current president, Ryuichi Kubota, will serve as president of the new company.
